The City of Portland operates a manned trash convenience center at 1137 Parkers Chapel Road, hours are from 8 am through 4 pm on Wednesday and Saturday only. The following rules apply:
- No commercial haulers
- Must live inside the city limits of Portland, TN
The following items are not allowed:
- No household trash
- No paint or paint containers
- No Tires / Roofing
- No concrete, brick or rock
- No hazardous materials of any kind.
