On October 17, 2022, the Portland City Council passed Ord 22-68 that established a Water Meter Base Fee. The fee will be used to test, calibrate, maintain, and replace all existing meters within the distribution system. The fee is effective January 1, 2023.
Fees shall be calculated as shown below.

Residential - Shall apply to all residential meters.
Commercial/Industrial - Shall apply to all commercial & industrial 2 1/2” and smaller meters. Fire Meters – Shall apply to all fire meters 3” and larger.
