Hometown Heroes 

The City of Portland would like to announce that the Hometown Heroes banner program applications open on October 1, 2025.

This program shines a light on Portland natives that have served our country by displaying their Military portrait, rank, branch and era of service on a banner between May and Veteran's Day.

You can print applications using the link below or pick them up at the Business Office at City Hall. (100 S Russell St Portland, TN 37148)
