As a life-long resident, I know the value of this great community; and I personally invite you to come and be a part of our town. Whether you choose to work, live, invest, or just relax here, Portland has the hometown atmosphere that many long for. We look forward to you having the opportunity to experience all that we have to offer.

Over the last few years, we have worked hard to strengthen our public safety departments, build regional partnerships, introduce cybersecurity measures to protect data, provide increased efficiency through technology, and sought long-term solutions for critical infrastructure needs. Our dedicated group of over 160 skilled full time city employees, led by a team of professional department heads, allows us to continue our efforts improving what is already a wonderful place as we plan for tomorrow.

Our community is blessed with a multitude of churches, non-profits, and businesses that work together with the City and Chamber to help provide a quality of life that makes us proud to call Portland home; and I am honored to serve as Mayor. I look forward to seeing you soon.
