Finance
The finance department prepares the city's internally used financial reports, the annual financial report, and prepares and monitors the city's annual budget. Finance is also responsible for the centralized payroll and accounts payable systems. In addition to maintaining the integrity of the city's financial records and transactions, finance ensures the proper and efficient expenditure of city funds and collects and analyzes information to provide short and long term projected impacts of national, state, and local decisions on the city's financial stability.
