Portland Airport Authority
Established by Ordinance #122 in 1968, then due to loss of the original charter, re-established by Ordinance #527 and chartered in 1996. The Airport Authority is governed by TCA, Chapter 3, §42. Members are appointed by the governing body (by TCA definition "those with law-making powers" - or in the case of a municipality, the City Council) with terms of five years each.
