The City of Portland's Meeting Schedule for Calendar Year 2012 is published pursuant to the provisions
of 8-44-101 to 8-44-106, inclusive, Tennessee Annotated. Unless otherwise announced, all meetings will be held in the Council Room at Portland City Hall 100 South Russell St Portland, TN 37148

Board/Committee Meeting Day and Time Exceptions Due to Holiday Observance/ Comments

  • 1. Retail Committee --First Monday of Each Month @ 5 pm                                         
  •  **January & September -- First Tuesday @ 5 pm
  • 2. Public Hearings & City Council Meetings-- (Both Meetings will be Televised on Cable Networks)
  • First & Third Monday of Each Month @ 6 pm -- **January--First & Third Tuesday / February -Third Tuesday
  • & September --First Tuesday @ 6 pm
  • 3. City Council Work Study --Second & Fourth Monday of Each Month @ 6pm
  • May- Fifth Tuesday / November -Second Tuesday @ 6:30pm / & December 31st - No Meeting
  • 4. Property Maintenance Board -- Second Monday Each Month @ 5pm
  • November --Second Tuesday@ 4pm
  • 5. Zoning Board of Appeals --Second Tuesday of Each Month @ 5 pm
  • November -- Second Tuesday @ 4:30pm
  • 6. Design Review Committee--Second Tuesday of Each Month @ 5:30pm
  • November --Second Tuesday @ 5pm
  • 7. Planning Commission-- Second Tuesday of Each Month @ 6 pm
  • Novmeber --Second Tuesday @ 5:30pm
  • 8. Citizen Advisory Council-- Second & Fourth Thursday of Each Month @ 6:30 pm
  • November -- Third Wednesday @ 6:30pm
  • 9. Airport Authority Second Thursday of Every Other Month @ 7pm 
  • ** Meetings: February, April, June, August, October, & December 
  • **(will meet at the Airport -- 600 Airport Road)
  • 10. Cable Commission Third Monday of Each Month @ 5 pm     
  • ** January & February -- Third Tuesday @ 5pm  
  •  (Will meet in City Hall Conference Room)
  • 11. Parks Advisory Board Third Thursday of Each Month @ 4 pm

  • 12. Special Called Session  for City Council -- Scheduled and Advertised as Needed

  • 14. Health & Educational Board -- Scheduled and Advertised as Needed
  • 15.Construction Board of Appeals & Adjustments--Scheduled & Advertised as Needed
  • 21. Water Management Advisory Group--Scheduled & Advertised as Needed
