Portland Water Management Advisory Group
 
The Water Management Advisory Group was established by City of Portland Resolution #5393 on October 1, 2007 according to the provisions of Portland Municipal Code, Title 18, Chapter 1,  § 130 (5).
 
The Water Management Advisory Group shall be made up of five members who are appointed by the administrative body, and terms are to be staggered for 1,2,3,4 and 5 years each, with new terms beginning each year on October 1. Thereafter, all terms shall be 5 years each. Terms of elected officials will be concurrent with his/her term. 
 
One member shall be the Public Works Committee Chairman and one member shall be the Public Safety Committee Chairman of the Portland City Council. The other three members are to represent various local interest groups. 
 
Regularly scheduled annual meetings are to be held to review the Emergency Plan, with more frequent meetings to be held during drought situations.
